The Kleingers Group’s reality capture division, TrueScan, provided 3D laser scanning and 3D modeling services for Lincoln and Cullum Hall on the West Point campus in New York. Over four days, two field crews captured approximately 500 interior and exterior scans. Revit models were generated for both buildings to help the design team confidently move forward on the renovation project.
The West Point Academy project presented a few challenges for our team of 3D laser scanning professionals. They worked during the off hours to eliminate disrupting daily activities, including academic schedules and athletic events. Ultimately, the TrueScan team quickly delivered accurate renderings, removing guesswork and change orders.
